PokeHuman Stats

Occupation: A Lumiose City Taxi Driver

Town of Residence: In a relatively average sized apartment on South Boulevard, Lumiose City

Appearance: Connor is a little on the short side, at about 5'4'' feet tall. He doesn't have the best posture, nor the best figure, but he's got a smart mind and relatively good strength in his arms. He's not really all that much of a runner and tends to get winded easily if he runs for too long. In general Connor could be seen as quite the round fellow, with his rounded face and nose, and big blue, curious eyes. His hair is surprisingly fluffy and curly, and typically not kept in any sort of fashion, most of the time just letting it do it's own thing, which ends in his hair sometimes looking like a disaster- not that he minds it. Connor has relatively good sight, but due to it not being 100% he has to wear glasses most of the time. Without them, he can't see things all that well from far away. Connor also has a distinctive birthmark on his neck, three little spots next to each other, who his mother typically uses to differentiate him from his brother, Donald.

Height: About 5'5''

Personals

Personality:
Laid Back/Positive/Daydreams/Carefree/Kid at Heart/Smart/Honest
Klutz/Cant handle stress/Runs from problems/Distracted easily/Doesn't know how to comfort people/Bad habit of eating dreams
Connor is extremely laid back, taking every day at face value and simply going with the flow. He rarely lets himself stress out over something, and takes his sweet time with just about anything. He could almost be classified under lazy, but he's not all that bad- just very chill. Along with that he's also very positive, with an almost constant smile on his face. And despite his size, Connor is very happy with how he looks and doesn't seek to change. He's rather dreamy in the sense he tends to daydream, his mind wandering off to places his imagination creates, thinking about happy things and absent mindedly laughing at his own mind- before realizing he's daydreaming again. That said, he's very carefree and loves a good laugh, meeting new people and hearing a good story or two before they part ways. He too loves sharing his stories, people he's met, places he's been, he loves to talk to those who will listen! He's a very gentle dude,  and loves making friends. He comes off as a doofus at first glance, but is a very lovable kid-at-heart kinda guy and is surprisingly smart despite his looks- and can smarten himself up if he needs to.
Despite all that, Connor is a big klutz. He constantly trips over his other foot, falls up the stairs, etc. and ends up hurting himself often because of it. Connor also doesn't typically know how to handle stress when it does get to him, and tends to shut himself away until he either feels better or the stress goes away- basically, Connor tends to run from his problems, if he has any. He also has a hard time handling other people when they're sad, and doesn't really know how to comfort people other than giving them a hug. Apart from that- he's clueless. He is also distracted pretty easily by many things, including his own thoughts, as mentioned earlier. Lastly- as most Drowzee do- Connor loves dreams. He himself cannot dream, but he loves looking into others dreams and this typically ends up with him creeping out the friends he has.

History: Connor was raised in a home he wouldn't call loving, but comfortable, at least. As a young Drowzee his family would travel often, with his mother, a Hypno called Stephanie, his father, a Cacturne named Henry, his younger brother Donald and Henry's kids, Holly and Geoffrey. Stephanie traveled on her own before, starting in Kanto and eventually making her way across the regions, eventually meeting Henry, who to her, was a big, strong and bold Pokemon with no boundaries- someone Stephanie absolutely fell for. Henry was also a single father with two children- Holly and Geoffrey. As soon as Stephanie hooked up with Henry, Connor was born. Holly and Geoff never really liked Connor, seeing him as a smaller, weirdly nosed 'brother'. They mostly kept to themselves, which suited Connor fine. He found happiness in his solitude, thinking about things that made him happy! Such as fluffy clouds, Butterfrees and many fluffy things. Holly and Geoff found him strange because of it. In that time Connor found that he had trouble seeing objects far away, but never told his mother, seeing that it would be just an inconvenience.

Donald was born soon after Connor- leaving him not quite so alone anymore. The two Drowzee would spend all of their time together playing and exploring- they were never monitored by their mother or father- not because they didn't care, they just forgot. Connor, serving as the responsible older brother, would take care of Donald and keep him happy. The family continued to travel around, region to region, until they finally settled in Kalos. Connor had aged a little by this time, and with that gained his own sense of self. His father, Henry, kept a strict hold on his family, making sure everyone knew he was the boss. And because of that, Connor's freedom was then limited. Holly would occasionally poke fun at Connor, Geoff would poke at him- quite literally- with his barbs and hurt him. Connor thought many times about running away- but stayed for his brother's sake. Donald truly loved their mother and was still too young to leave, and Connor didn't want to leave him with Holly and Geoff, so, he stayed. For a little while, that is. Connor couldn't take Henry's rudeness and his children's meanness- though he knew his mother loved Henry so he couldn't exactly do anything about it- he left home.

Since then Connor has traveled by himself, training by himself and being happy with life. Connor had no destination in mind, but rather the traveling itself was fun to him. He went city to city, forest to forest, battling and surviving as he went. He gained friends and probably some enemies, and through the years was truely happy with his freedom and peace of mind. There was always the passing thought about his mother and his brother, but mostly ignored it. His life would take him places, as would their own. He had his own life to live and he would live it happily!

In later years, after being very well accustomed to escaping the occasional trainer, getting food and fighting for himself, Connor found himself mostly sticking to the cities. Hearing gossip from Pokemon about some kind of device to turn a Pokemon into a human- what a thought! Some even said it is permanent- that it never wears off and you turn into a human forever! Some say it created equality among both Pokemon and humans! Connor, never the one for tall tales, went into investigating the whole ordeal for himself. After an investigation into the thing- it turned out it was called a Dittech, by a company called Pokemon Amie Co. Every time he asked around- everyone stared at him as if he had five heads. "What do you mean you don't know about Pokemon Amie Co??? Do you live under a rock?" To which Connor felt mildly offended, seeing that one of his nicer homes was in fact under a rock. Still, though. He felt as though he had somehow missed a lot while traveling around. He very much liked the idea of equality, under the idea that Pokemon could experience all those royalties that the trainers always had- for once being able to walk in peace without the threat of being captured. Plus, this was a whole new opportunity to make more friends! Connor then applied where he could, gathering what he needed in order to receive such an object.

After doing so, Connor felt quite pleased with himself. He was so different! He had to run to a mirror to see. He no longer had his long nose- and he had glasses! Finally, he could see clearly! Everything was so cool- and he quite liked it. With the help of many other Dittech users, Connor quickly fit into the community and humans themselves, and thrived there. Soon he applied and got a job as a taxi driver in Lumiose City, guiding those who were lost- or too lazy- a way to go. Sharing his own tales of his life or hearing stories from others while he drives is what he loves above all. He's very happy with his life and continues to explore the possibilities before him.

Relationships: None, currently!

Extras:
Connor has a hard time sleeping a lot of the time. Eating/viewing others dreams often helps him sleep.
Despite the laid-back attitude, Connor is quite the good driver.

Role-Play Example:
The sky shone brightly as the sun rose from the horizon, casting the world below various golden colours, much like a painting. The clouds above were wispy and thin, not like yesterday's gloom, which brought rain. Today there was no hint of that, giving off the impression that today would be a perfectly warm sunny day. The air still smelled of fresh dew as he left from his grey apartment building, the doors swooshing shut behind him. Stretching his long, rounded arms out he let out a loud yawn, letting them flop back down to his sides after. He blinked the drowsiness out from his eyes, adjusting his glasses before looking around. There weren't all that many people outside, minus the occasional person rushing to their 8 o'clock sharp morning hours at their work, or the occasional jogger, so into their morning run they would hop past him without so much as a glance. Such was the ways of Lumoise City, he figured. Removing his glasses to rub his eyes again, he places them back on his nose, then sticks his hands in his sweater pockets. He takes in a deep breath of air, and exhales with a wide smile. Today will be a good day- he can just feel it.
